General Land Surveying is the core service that we provide. All other services listed herein are specialized products tailored to meet our client’s needs; however, the basic principles of data collection and mapping are basic, general land surveying.
We specialize in UAS (survey-drone) and vehicle-mounted spatial imaging systems integrated with GNSS technology for high accuracy data collection. Geospatial data is processed, validated, and easily transformed into powerful information-rich 3D models for real estate inventories, environmental analysis, smart utility development, BIM, and GIS.
Population growth and land development have transformed our right of ways in congested underground utility corridors. Accurate information of existing subsurface utilities is critical to any project, it is essential to develop strategies to reduce risk, or at minimum to allocate risk and to make informed decisions in planning the new infrastructure.
B&B leverages the versatility and flexibility of sonar, echo sounding and robotic technologies to collect bathymetric and submerged lands data to serve the vast spectrum of end-users: dredgers, scientists, design engineers, ports/harbor – marine surveyors, utility contractors, and environmental professionals.
In today’s environment where so much data is available, survey grade – accurate data is essential for quality engineering and architectural designs. We have the capability and the expertise to collect geospatial data from which information can be extracted in order to proper plan your next project.
Sustainable land development, proper protection of coastal and freshwater resources, and resilient communities are part of today’s culture.
For the last 20 years we have been assisting clients with platting /replating applications that maximize the use and value of real property. We have prepared over 70 record Plats for new subdivisions, in accordance with Municipal and County Land Subdivision Codes, and in conformance with the provisions of Chapter 177, Part I, Florida Statutes.
We use independent data sets 3D Laser scanning with preset ground controls (targets) to obtain georeferenced High-Definition Surveys (HDS), and to accurately measure interior and exterior spaces, tunnels, industrial facilities, pump stations, etc.
Floodplain Management reduces the risk of flooding in our communities and enhance public safety, while building resiliency and adaptability. Floodplain Management is an essential discipline related to the enforcement of sea-level rise ordinances, risk assessment, storm surge protection effectiveness, and flood mitigation strategies. Floodplain Management Services complement and add value to our land surveying capabilities and services.
Easements and non-possessory rights are a complex real estate matter that requires knowledge and expertise when dealing with it. We assist our clients in the preparation of “Certified Legal Descriptions” and “Sketch to Accompany Legal Descriptions” for the parcels and strips of land subject to easements and/or right of ways. Our field surveyors have a trained eye to identify and locate apparent uses and evidence of prescriptive easements that require to be disclosed on a Survey and Surveyor’s Report.
For the last three decades we have been assisting clients with all the land surveying services required for new construction, utility infrastructure installation, expansions, remodeling, and land development. We establish Project Control Points (Horizontal and Vertical) and set Temporary Benchmarks (TBMs), set grid lines clearly marked in the field and documented in construction survey field notes, sketches and reports.
